Health and wellness is kind of my thing. Shocking, right? The truth is, this hasn’t always been the case.
I have been there.
Unhealthy, overwhelmed, unsure of what to do or where to start, full of guilt, stuck.
I needed a change.
My wellness journey began when I was a new mom, working a full time job, with a husband who traveled for work.
It hit me.
I had to prioritize my wellness needs.
I took a deep breath (let’s be real, I probably skipped this part. Deep breathing didn’t come into my toolbox for a few more years.), did some research, and set out to get healthy.
Once I started, I quickly fell in love with all things that improved my wellness.
I learned that wellness comes from more than exercise and a healthy diet. I learned that your lifestyle and mindset also have a huge impact.
I found that it was possible to create a wellness routine that fit into my daily life.
Then, I discovered Health and Wellness coaching.
I discovered how powerful coaching is.
I had an ah-ha moment. This is it.
I am now a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach helping professional women to prioritize their wellness needs so that they are happier and healthier.

Amanda is an amazing health coach! She is very professional, and definitely goal oriented. The first thing we did was set some short and long term goals for me that were realistic and attainable. I have spent four decades and two careers taking care of others, especially the past 25 years as a first responder. During my tenure as a public safety professional, I took a keen interest in the mental health of our frontline emergency workers (police, fire, EMS, and dispatchers) and how they are experiencing a high risk for mental health issues and even suicide. I recently retired at the age of 62 and decided that my top priority would be to begin the process of taking care of myself. Although an advocate for behavioral health initiatives, I was more talk and less walk.
Four months ago, I began to work with Amanda and her amazing insight into the world of wellness. Amanda’s knowledge, experience, easy-going manner, and her dedication to finding solutions would not only help me meet my retirement goals, but also help me achieve more than I had imagined.
